Casa Gilli Mori is a charming apartment located in Florence area and it is surrounded by the green of the typical Florentine hills, where a unique panorama stands out against a background of vineyards and olive groves. We are in the Chianti hills representing a landscape rich in history and tradition.

The cosy and comfortable residence, made out of an old hayloft dating back to 1800, was accurately renovated and completed in 2005, recovering its ancient splendour but always keeping the architectural characteristics of the old structure unchanged. Now it consists in four completely independent flats, equipped with any comfort, where elegance and sobriety combine perfectly together.

Casa Gilli Mori is located in a strategic position for excursions and visits to art towns, being at a distance of about 35 km from Florence, 40 km from Pisa, 30 km from Siena and 20 km from Volterra, San Gimignano and Monteriggioni.

Florence
Some of the greatest artistic treasures in the world are to be found in Florence’s museums, palaces, and churches. San Gimignano
is a small, fortified hill town in the province of Siena famous for its medieval architecture, especially its towers, which may be seen from several kilometers outside of town. It is known for its white wine, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, grown in the area. In 1990 San Gimignano was declared by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Town.

Inside

It is an independent flat of about 115 m2 on two floors with mansard.
On the ground floor there is the living-room with double sofa bed and small fireplace, large masonry kitchen with dining area and one bathroom with shower. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, one bathroom with shower and from the access area you can get to the mansard with a double bedroom.

The flat includes the following: air-conditioning, alarm, safe, independent central heating, satellite television, washing machine, dishwashing machine, electric oven, gas cooker, refrigerator with freezer.

Outside
The villa where are the apartments is located on the ridge of a hill at an altitude of about 200 m on the sea level; the residence is surrounded by a large garden (about 2500 m2), made out of the already existing olive grove and complete with a swimming pool of about 60 m equipped with a large solarium and with any comfort.

During your stay, tasting dinner in the garden of your own flat in hot summer nights, you will be delighted by the chirps of crickets and cicadas.
