The family moved from the Catalogna to Sicily in the XIV century where it served first the Aragonesis and then the Spaniards.
For the vastness of the architectural plant,for the quality and the wealth of the decorative apparatuses , as well as for the fact to have reached the thresholds of the XXI practically entire century, building Valguarnera not only also constitutes an unicum in the Sicilian panorama ,but a tall moment of the Italian rococò.
