Villa Federici is the largest of the historic farmhouses.
The great room includes a living area with sofas, a large fireplace, a music system, a dining space with a long, hearty table seating twelve, a kitchen with an island and breakfast nook.
Three sets of French doors open the entire space onto a patio overlooking the valley with more seating and a canopy. The décor is warm and comfortable with an earthy palette, more rustic than the manor house, as befits its origins.
One bedroom downstairs is an oasis of cool, with its own private entrance on a side patio.
Upstairs, three bedrooms face Montalcino and the valley below from an excellent vantage point. A fifth bedroom occupies a split-level suite-style arrangement.
